Living a Christ focused life requires faithful steps and trusting in the unseen. It’s no easy task because this lifestyle doesn’t consist of ‘every once in a while’ or ‘when it’s convenient’… it requires constant steps towards the uncomfortable unknown.
This has been life for The Willow House for the past year plus… constant steps towards the ‘uncomfortable unknown’. It’s our constant in Christ that keeps moving our mission forward, driven by the unfaltering heart of Nicole King. It has been her loving leadership, and her ability to utilize her Godly gifts through an aptitude to not only seek out but to trust those willing to serve this mission. Our board of directors has grown and the diversity of talent serves us well.
Our growth has been steady but slow. It is without question, our lack of a physical location has hindered our fundraising effectiveness. The fact of the matter is people need to see to believe…most people. Unfortunately we live in a world where scams run rampant and supporters want to know donation dollars are going where they are pledged. Our slow and steady growth has served us well to this point because our loyal supporters know the heart of this mission and believe God’s great hand is at work helping us to step closer and closer to being equipped to serve girls in Martin County, FL.
So with full hearts of gratitude we joyfully share… our physical location!
We know having a physical location will open up doors of opportunity beyond our wildest dreams, offering hope and healing for the hurt and broken. The Willow House board collectively understands the void these girls are living and facing everyday. That void is Jesus calling them to step up in the flesh and embrace unconditional love from people that have a heart to help facilitate healing and growth.
You… the one reading this right now, is helping us in the ripple effect that is necessary to our growth and success. YOU are helping The Willow House build a ‘Safe Place for Girls’ in Martin County, FL. THANK YOU!!!
